Adopting one of our dogs

If you are interested in adopting a greyhound from us, please feel free to visit the kennels between 10.30am and 2.00pm

We have up to 32 dogs at any one time, so we will try and match your requirements by showing you a selection of our most suitable dogs. You can then take the dogs out and get to know them in our field, and hopefully find the dog of your dreams!

We can then reserve the dog for you until we have completed a home visit.  If this goes well you will be asked to formally "adopt" the dog by completing the relevent paperwork, and at this time you will be asked for a donation, which is non-refundable.

Please do not come to choose a dog if you are not in a position to adopt soon. Unfortunately we do not have the space to reserve a dog for long, as there are so many waiting to come in.

All dogs are neutered/spayed prior to leaving the kennels. They are also health checked, wormed, vaccinated, treated with a topical flea treatment and have dental work done.  All dogs come with a leather collar and lead, muzzle, leather house collar and a waterproof coat.

We offer full behavioural support throughout the dogs' life should you need it. Please do not feel embarrased or worried about contacting us if you have any problems, this is part of our job!

Please visit our online forum where you will find lot's of useful information regarding the care of greyhounds and details of events we hold.

Max & Maisie jpg We are based in the beautiful countryside of Twineham, West Sussex. The new kennels that we occupy were purpose built by us in March 2005. We gained financial backing from the national RGT and Corals Brighton & Hove Greyhound Stadium, both of which we are extremely grateful to, as without them it would never have happened. The kennels can hold 32 dogs for homing, but realistically we have about 29 at any one time. We have two outside fields that the dogs are continually turned out in throughout the course of the day. We also have some reliable and trusted dog walkers who take the dogs out along local bridleways. The dogs are generally housed in pairs for company, if we have enough dogs we will always do this.   read more.....
